Hello readers! I'm sure many of you are aware that my departure for Chicago is fast approaching (T minus 6 days !!!). This final week before college has been jam packed and absolutely crazy. Between packing, working, and scrolling endlessly through Pinterest for last minute Dorm decor ideas its hard to find time to even breathe. But even more important than the mile long list of preparations that need to be crossed off before I move, is spending time with the people I'll miss. Just last night, my two best friends and I had our final sleepover before college and it got me thinking 'It's really time to feature these two on the blog, after all we've spent every second of the past four years together'. So today I decided to take a break before the final segments of my European adventure are uploaded and share this long awaited and very much overdue post about the two girls I'll miss the most.
Meet Anna (left) and Emilee (right). Chances are, if you know me, you know them and if you don't know them, you've at least heard of them. But, if by some miracle you know me and haven't heard even the littlest bit about them, well here they are, my other thirds. We do everything together and are practically joined at the hip. They're seriously the best friends a girl could ask for and next year will definitely be hard without them but I can't get too sappy and talk about how great they are (otherwise I'll cry because you do that at least twice a day the week before college) so I'm going to talk about what this blog is all about: Fashion.
As you can see in the above picture, we all have very different senses of style (but a mutual passion for Birkenstocks). I challenged them to describe their senses of style in three words less and the results were as follows.
Emilee: "Navy, white, stripes"
Me of Emilee: "J Crew obsessed"
Anna: "Preppy as Heck"
Anna's dad of Anna: "Post modern urbanista"
Me: "Minimal- ish ??????"
Emilee of Me: "Bargain-hunting, high-end, fashionista"
Clearly our styles are all very different but we found ourselves color-coordinating in shades of blue as we embarked on one of our last big adventures before college, a road trip to Grand Rapids. We visited Emilee's new home, Grand Valley State University and found her dorm (it's brand-spanking new I'm so jealous) then set off for some serious pre-college shopping. After that we explored down town Grand Rapids and ended the night as any night should, with pizza. Throughout the day we took pictures for the blog but some of our best were at Grand Valley.

As much as I'll me these two, I could not be more excited to explore more of Allendale and Grand Rapids with Emilee, have Anna show us around Milwaukee, and give my girls a tour of the Windy City. Be on the lookout for pictures of our next adventures together circulating around the blog sometime soon!

PS: I know many of you come for the fashion but I've also had some special requests to include more food pictures so here's the delicious chicken parm pizza we split in Grand Rapids!
